Frequently Asked
Common questions.
If your question is not here, call or text and Cameron will answer it directly.
What loan programs do you offer?
VA, construction, land, USDA, first-time buyer programs, conventional fixed-rate financing, and refinance or cash-out refinance. Ask about your specific situation.
What areas do you serve?
Loans are originated in California, Colorado, Florida, Alabama and Louisiana.
How do I verify your license?
Cameron Z. Reed (NMLS #2613580) and C2 Financial Corporation (Company NMLS #135622) can both be verified through NMLS Consumer Access, the industry’s public license lookup.
Is this a commitment to lend?
No. Information on this site is for general information only, is not a commitment to lend or extend credit, and all loans are subject to credit approval.
Why a broker instead of a bank?
A bank can only offer you its own products. As a broker, Cameron places your file with the lender whose guidelines actually fit it, which matters most on VA, land, construction and self-employed files.
Do I need a pre-approval before I look at homes?
It is strongly recommended. A pre-approval tells you what price range is realistic and makes your offer credible to a seller’s agent.
Can I really buy with nothing down?
Often, yes. VA financing requires no down payment for eligible borrowers, and USDA allows 0% down on eligible properties. Eligibility is confirmed on your file and the specific address.
How accurate is the payment calculator?
It is an estimate. It models principal and interest exactly and lets you add taxes, insurance, HOA and mortgage insurance as your own inputs. Actual rates and payments depend on credit approval and current market pricing.
